  • Left shoulder turns down
  • Your hands move back and inward, it should feel like they are wrapping around your body
  • Note that the right elbow and right forearm are pointing downward, not backward. The right elbow distance from the body may vary, but the downward direction is essential.
  • The elbows are still about the same distance apart as they were at address.
  • Weight shifts to front foot at top
  • Maintain angle of inclination (side tilt)
  • Allow your rear leg to straighten, forward knee flexes.
