Macey dominated by 2 strokes in a shortened tournament format of one hole due to a deluge of rain.
The Friday Tournament was shortened to a one hole event due to heavy rain.
Macey D'Amico won the Girls Flight without much trouble, but the Boys Flight was a different story.
It had the most suspense filled finish ever at golf camp. Brady Ayres and Max Flannery went to their fourth sudden death playoff hole - hole 3 from 81 yards. Max
hit a tee shot that looked like it had the pin covered, but it carried about a foot long into the fringe, bounced off the back of the green, and came to rest near the cart path. Brady's tee shot
looked like it was going to land in the bunker, but it carried the sand, rolled forward and came to rest about 22' from the hole.
Max had a very difficult 2nd shot - uphill and short sided. He then executed a really great shot that hit the fringe and rolled about 12' past the pin.
Brady wisely cozied his putt up to about a foot and tapped in.
Max then stroked a good putt that just missed on the right, and the Championship Medal belonged to Brady.
Long Drive for the girls was Lucia Calarco-Smith, the rest of the on course contests were rained out.
