Thanks to Tom C. for feedback on the last golf tip. He said that he never understood the difference between wrist hinging and wrist cocking, and that after the newsletter he went to the range and couldn't remember the last time he hit the ball so crisply. Thanks again for the feedback Tom! Spring golf usually finds us playing in moist conditions, so here are some tips on handling the wet stuff. My sons told me that after I set up for a shot, to step away and see how far my feet have sunk into the wet ground. Then set up again and compensate by moving my grip down the same distance on my club that my feet sunk into the ground, and the bottom of the club will strike the ball in the right spot; otherwise you hit it fat. This really works folks. More tips ……………. Play the ball back in your stance and keep your stance slightly open. Take an extra club or two and keep the lower body "quiet" during the swing. When the ground is wet, excessive leg movements can cause many types of mis-hits, such as catching the ball fat or connecting too close to the club hozzle. Remember, slightly open stance, extra club and quiet legs. Enjoy, Tom
