One difference is they have incredible distance control. I mean they can come within a couple of yards of their target most of the time. I know the first thing that comes to mind is that they practice more than we do and they should be that accurate. There is another reason for their ability to hit it so close. When they swing the golf club down in the downswing they swing it on the correct angle almost every time. Their angle of attack means that they strike the golf ball with the same amount of loft very consistently. If they are using an eight iron from 150 yards they make contact with the loft of an eight iron not a nine or seven iron loft. During impact you have to have the leading edge of the golf club entering the bottom of the ball with the exact amount of loft every time. If your hands are in front you will take loft off of the club, if your clubhead is in front of the club you will add loft to the shot. A great way to find consistent impact is to practice hitting shots from a downhill lie. The angle in the slope will force you to swing the club on a little steeper angle for the correct impact. Enjoy, Tom
