Thanks for the feedback on the reading list in last week's newsletter! I sincerely hope that you all get a few good books read while you're cooped up.
This week I want to give a little more ink to a product that I've been recommending for some time now, The Crocbox .
If you are serious about improving your game, now is the time to get some work in on your full swing as well as your putting.
Unfortunately, a lot of you are now in quarantine, and probably will still be there until at least the first part of May. The silver lining to this storm cloud is that it's a great time to work on your game at home.
And you can work on both aspects of your game - full swing and putting - with a minimal amount of space.
FULL SWING PRACTICE
The Crocbox , a Made in The USA product that I have been recommending for months, is perfect for full swing practice if you have an area in your yard where you can swing a club freely. I have one sitting in my basement that's going into my yard as soon as the weather becomes a little more consistent here in the Batavia NY area.
I'm placing it at the end of a 13' x 37' practice green that I'm installing in my back yard. I'll have the best of both worlds - a putting and chipping practice area, and a full swing practice area. I'll probably end up doing my putting lessons there too.
I'll put up a couple photo's when the project is completed, I can't wait!
I also plan on warming my full swing up at my Crocbox before I head out for a round of golf. It's fairly time consuming to get to a course and head to the range (if one is available) and warm up. If I stretch then get twelve swings in at home - that's my number for a pre round warmup - then do my normal stretching before the first tee, I'll be ready for my first drive and will have saved some time and a few bucks too.
